The Tubing Packer (TP) provides an excellent alternative for increasing fluid flow velocity by reducing the wellbore’s flow area.
This solution was designed to accommodate large hanging weights (up to 22 Tons) hence; long strings can be used as required. The hydraulic setting tool isolates the setting mechanism and the tension caused by the string; ensuring accurate and safe setting of the Tubing Packer. This tool is also ideal when only low pressure is available when operating the tool.
To retrieve the Tubing Packer, a standard GS tool is used. This packer series has been successfully tested according to the ISO14310:2001 design validation V3.
