Dual Ball Seat
The Dual Ball Seat (DBS) is an accessory used with a packer for pre-installation of plugs in the completion string.
During running in the well, the packer is open for circulation. At setting depth, a ball is dropped to transform the packer into a plug for setting of completion packers and pressure testing of completion strings.
The Dual Ball Seat ensures a back up option should it turn out difficult to get a good seat on the primary ball. This valve can be incorporated onto most BTU packers.
